On YouTube, a user named Josh Busker shows off a mod that causes almost all of the interactive elements of Ocarina of time explode. Whether it’s rolling through trees or throwing rocks, virtually all interactive elements will explode or fire bombs. Since the release of Harkinian Shipthe unofficial PC port of Ocarina of time, it allowed users to push one of the biggest Zelda games of all time in exciting new directions.

Given Nintendo’s penchant for releasing games exclusively on Nintendo consoles, it’s unlikely fans will ever see an official PC port of Ocarina of time. In addition to this explosion mod, a user has created a weird mod that replaces all Ocarina of Time’s textures with an image of Toad’s face from the Super Mario Bros. series.

It’s amazing how much creativity players can cultivate when given the ability to modify any given game, especially one with such a rich story as Ocarina of time. The level of love fans have for this game is staggering, so much so that one user has managed to recreate Ocarina of time in Unreal Engine 5.
