CryZENx has shared a new video of their Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake in Unreal Engine 5, showcasing some seriously impressive water effects. The indie developer used Krystian Komisarek’s Fluid Flux, and the results are amazing.
Fluid Flux provides some of the best water effects we’ve ever seen. This plugin offers real-time shallow water simulation, smooth surface rendering, ocean wave blending, and smooth interaction. It also offers interaction with the Niagara environment and water cross-section rendering. Not only that, but it uses a velocity-based fluid flow advection method for foam, caustics, and waves.
As we previously reported, the UE5 version of this Zelda: Ocarina of Time fan remake is behind a Patreon wall. However, you can head over to CryZENx’s Discord server and download its free version Unreal Engine 4.
Enjoy!
