Put on your tunic and take out the ocarina – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is on its way, and it looks better than ever. All thanks to the incredibly talented and dedicated designer, CryZENx, who makes the inspiring journey to recreate the gaming phenomenon with jaw-dropping visuals. This is something that has been in the works for a few years now, and people continue to hyperventilate about it. But, as 2020 sets in, the next updates approach and the full version is, hopefully, just around the corner. But don’t take our word for it. Just cross your fingers and pray.
Joseph (CryZENx) began the quest to revive the cult classic in 2015 by working on smaller sections of the game. With several feet dipping into multiple pools, the now twenty-five-year-old developer has sought to create various aspects of the game. game and string them together at a later date. Today, after four long years of tireless work, he has proven to the world what hard work and loyalty can accomplish. From enchanting forests to lush meadows, from fluid controls to careful combat; CyrZENx offered Zelda fans with a set of material that is both inspiring and nostalgic.
Using Unreal Engine 4, CryZENx has built and successfully tested countless projects during his seven year career on YouTube. But, it’s not just Zelda that has been on the table since the account was launched. We have also been honored with hundreds, if not thousands, of other projects from several award-winning franchises. With performance improvements, remastered visuals and standalone sketches, CryZENx has established itself as one of the most ambitious developers in the industry. And, if Nintendo hasn’t put it in the fold by 2021, we’ll be very, very upset.
Take a look at some of the work CryZENx uploaded in 2019 here:
Oh, and if you were curious what kind of equipment was used to create this lovely project, Joseph was kind enough to provide it to us. Take a look for yourselves. Maybe you can look to start working on Majora’s Mask, you know, delivering CryZENx isn’t already ahead of you.
